TĀLĀ & BANKS WOLFPACK
Over the course of her latest EP campaign, London producer-vocalist TĀLĀ has hooked up with some of the most diverse talents on the entire planet, including Turkish pop singers, Egyptian rap artists, K-Pop bands and moody UK production duos. Now it's the turn of a bona fide global star in L.A. crooner Banks, who lends her show-stopping vocal to the latest cut from Malika, 'Wolfpack'. Banks works best when her voice is stretched by whichever producer is on the job, and often it's the more off-the-wall collaborators that bring out the greatest performance - think those early tracks with SOHN - and it's the same story here, with TĀLĀ's juddering, warped electronics elevating their duet to a higher plane. We want their newfound wolf love to last forever, or at least for an entire album. - DC
